August Wrap Up
It's that time again! Time to talk about all of the books that I've read this month.
I read four books this month, but of course I forgot to include one of the books in all the photos that I took... So lets just pretend it's there, okay?
I went through a little bit of a reading slump this month, so I didn't read as many books as I'd like to have read. It's all good though, because it's given me the idea of writing a blog post about how to get out of a reading slump, would you be interested in reading that?
Anyway, I'm getting carried away. Let's begin!
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
(Yes, this is the book that I forgot I read this month... How did I forget about this amazing book?!)
This book is a bit of a thriller and a mystery, I rarely ever read these genres, however I am so glad that I did. This book was so difficult to put down, it will leave you guessing until the end and it's just simply amazing. Just go and read it, please.
You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour & David Levithan
I've spoken about this book quite a lot recently, it's not the type of book that I would normally pick up but it surprised me as it was actually quite a nice story! This book follows a friendship which I enjoyed, I feel like most books seem to be about romance these days, we need more books about friendship! Although it's a short story, there's a lot going on and I loved the ending! (Which is rare, I'm very picky when it comes to book endings!)
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
Now, this is a book that I really, really enjoyed. I have been wanting to read this book for years but for some reason I just never picked it up! Thinking back now, I'm glad I didn't pick it up before making this blog otherwise I wouldn't be able to talk to you guys about it!
This book is funny, cringe-worthy and you will definitely be saying to yourself 'I can't believe Becky just said that...'. This book has left me desperate to read the next book in the series, I just love Becky Bloomwood, she is a great fictional character.
And lastly,
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I loved this book. Like, really loved this book. I actually had to stop myself from reading it too quickly because I wanted to enjoy the story (which was so difficult to do!). This is one of the best books that I've ever read, which is quite a big thing for me to say! I loved the writing, I loved the characters, I loved the story, I loved everything about it. Oh, I also love the front cover.
I read this book with Eloise from Eloise is Reading, which made it even better!
Look out for a book review coming soon!

I hope you enjoyed this post!
