August Book Haul

It's a bit late this month, but it's time for my August Book Haul!

I got 11 new books in August, a lot of which are written by Sophie Kinsella... Let's just say she's my new favourite author.

Here goes:

The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella

In case you were wondering, this is the same book as Confessions of a Shopaholic. They just have different titles (because of the film)!

Shopaholic Abroad, Shopaholic & Sister and Shopaholic & Baby by Sophie Kinsella

I just had to get a few more books in this series. If you've read the first book in the Shopaholic series, you'll understand why. If you haven't read them, go and read them now!

Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella

What can I say? Sophie Kinsella is my new favourite author! I'm now obsessed with her books, I need them all!

The Little Bookshop of Lonely Hearts  by Annie Darling

I love this book's cover, it's so pretty. I feel like this book will be the perfect cosy story, which I love!

The Girl Who Came Back by Susan Lewis

This book looks like a really interesting story, it looks like it's going to be full of drama, mystery and plot twists. So basically, this book is great for this time of the year!

Sigrun's Secret and Daughter of Fire & Ice by Marie-Louise Jensen

I've wanted to read more of Marie-Louise Jensen's books for a long time now, the books of hers that I've read were fantastic so I know that these will be too!

The Small Hand by Susan Hill

I was given this book by a friend, it looks a bit like a thriller! So I'll probably read this book in October. Don't you just love reading mysteries and thrillers around Halloween?!

And lastly,

The Last Kiss Goodbye by Tasmina Perry

This book looks like a nice romance story, I'm going to have to read this before Summer ends, I reckon it's a Summery story!

~

Have you read any of these books?

What books did you get in August?

Speak soon,

Em x

  1. Whoa that is a lot of books! Actually, I just got a good book haul for the month already! I don't generally read based on a particular order that I've got, but rather how I feel -- however, I've vowed not to buy any new new books until I've read at least five or 6 of what is currently on my waiting list! Maybe I'll post my waiting list this week :)
