September TBR
Aren't reading slumps the worst? I'm going through one at the moment, it's so annoying! So, this month I'm trying to not be too ambitious with my reading TBR. Yes, I know, I've chosen four books but I'm not going to worry too much about finishing them.
What do you do when you are going through a reading slump?
Here is my September TBR:
Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
I'm currently reading this book and I'm hoping to finish it soon! It's the sequel to Stargirl, a book that I really loved. These two books are about a girl called Stargirl, she isn't afraid to be herself and is the most selfless person. I love this fictional character so I'm looking forward to seeing what she gets up to in this book.
The Girl Who Came Back by Susan Lewis
My mum bought me this book a few weeks ago, it looks like a really interesting book! It's about how a lady named Jules's life was ruined by a girl called Amelia. It looks like the type of book that will be full of suspense and mystery, I can't wait to read it.
The Little Bookshop of Lonely Hearts by Annie Darling
This is another book that my mum bought me (thanks mum!). As the title suggests, it's one of those cosy books about bookshops! I've also just found out that it's the first book in a series, which is great! I love books that make you feel all cosy, so I will definitely be reading this one wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of tea.
And lastly,
Shopaholic Abroad by Sophie Kinsella
Since reading Confessions of a Shopaholic, all I've wanted to do is read the next book in the series, so that's what I'm planning on doing this month! I love the characters in first book, they are so funny, I need to read the next book so badly!
~
Have you read any of these books?
Speak soon,
Em x

I don't know any of these books so I'm looking forward to reading your reviews !
ReplyDeleteI need to read so many books this month...
The Well of Ascension
Empire of Storms
And I Darken
A Torch Against The Night
That's all I can remember for now but I have three more I think...
They look like really good books! Ooh, I've heard some good things about those books! I can't wait to read your reviews on them :) x
DeleteI've got so many books on my TBR list it's crazy! I wish I could narrow them down to a month like you can! But once I've finished a book, the next book I read is what I feel like at the time. I just don't think I could narrow down the options! Got so much admiration for you for doing that though! I don't know how you do it!

Haha! It's not easy, I have so many books that I want to read! Thank you so much!!! I don't know either, it's not easy! Haha! I just choose the books that I've been thinking about most :) x
DeleteI find it really hard to pre-choose my books for the month, I always just go through and choose after I finish a book because my mood changes based on the outcome of each book. I am interested in Stargirl. Do you have a review here? I will have to have a look! :)
DeleteYeah, I understand that! No, I don't have a review for Stargirl as I read it years ago! It's a great book though :)
